Jumbo Flat Washers are designed for large bolts - available from stock in both a 4140 Alloy Steel and 18-8 Stainless Steel from 1-3/8" Bolt Szie all the way up to 4" Bolts. Inner Diameter is manufactured 1/8" larger than the bolt to allow for slight alignment issues, and to accomodate a thicker hot dip galvanized bolt shank. Extra large outer diameters and thickness up to 5/16" provide extra bearing surface and extra strength. 4140 Alloy Steels are fully through hardened to Rockwell C40-C50, and finished with a Black Oxide plating. This provides a suitable washer for Grade 5 or Grade 8 bolts, and some Structural Bolting applications. 100% Made in USA, with DFARS compliant raw materials. (Certification available at extra cost, and on special order only). 300 Series Stainless Steels are also DFARS compliant (Certification also available at extra cost, and for special orders only).
